BookCrew was started by Gavin Schlegel and Ben Garnet in Verona, New Jersey. We have spent years running small service businesses ourselves — taking calls in the truck, juggling pen-and-paper schedules, and chasing customers down for confirmations. We knew there had to be a better way.

Most scheduling software is either built for huge salons and franchises, or it is a generic calendar bolted onto a contact form. Neither one fits how a one or two-person crew actually works. We built BookCrew to feel like the tool we always wished existed — fast to set up, friendly to your customers, and tough enough to run the whole back office.
